the apostle with bleeding feet

Known as the 'the apostle with bleeding feet' Sadhu Sundarsingh was an Indian missionary who walked around the northern hills of Himalayas and travelled frequently to Tibet to open the doors for gospel amidst great persecution. He lived a life of disciple as Jesus commanded, never carried any clothes, money of anything for himself.. Travelled wherever God lead him... I have been reading a book on his life which I got from my grandfather.
Here's what his thoughts on reading the bible and prayer. This was quite inspiring and I am sharing this with you all. God bless you.
Sundar seldom talked publicly of his devotional life, though his addresses were the product of much meditation and prayer. Now and again he opened his heart to his friends however.
"Rising Early, I begin by reading a chapter of the bible. I make a mental note of the verses which seem suggestive," he told his friends who asked about his methods of meditation. "Then, when I have quietly read the whole chapter, I return to each of these verses and meditate on them, one at a time. After I have exhausted all that God can say to me through those verses at that time I spend a quarter of an hour 'collecting myself' for prayer."
"I have no special posture for prayer. I may sit, or kneel, or stand. I use no words. I think only of those things that I have been reading, of the things I have been doing or intend to do, of the people I know, of myself and of Jesus- such thought is prayer. And in such prayer, God speaks, not man."
Finding a book on him is quite difficult. Here are some links online which I found

An Accident to Remember

Today afternoon I went to Lunch with two of my collegues to Panera Bread. Lunch was good... Soup and Sandwich... One of my collegue was driving the car... I was sitting in the front seat with my seatbelt on...On our way back we had to take a left turn...We took a left and out of nowhere in a flash of a second there was a car coming in front of us...We were half way across the turn 45 degress.. Bang... the car hits on the side where I am sitting.. it was so fast we didnt notice the car and hardly any time to respond...we parked the car to the right and checked if any of us was hurt... none of us even had a scratch.. I realized how our Loving Lord protects us like the apple of his eye.... I am Amazed....

The lady driving the other card had a small swelling above her eyebrows having hit her head on the steering wheel... no serious injuries... we had to wait there for the next 45 minutes to start back to office..

I also witnessed how America responds to an accident.. An Ambulance, A Fire Engine, 3 cops on their cars (3 cars) all in less than 10 minutes.. After a quick inquiry with all of us, id varification.. check our health status asking if we needed and ambulance .. ticket to the driver and all done.. The system is too good...

"Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil,
for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. "
- Psalms 23:4

I am amazed again for how Lord protects us and thank him for his love...He does protect us ... Amen

Miracles - unnoticed

"Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? " - Matthew 6:26 (New King James Version)

I was driving my bike yesterday to office, I dont drive bikes without a helmet. .I was wearing the helmet, didnt put on the helmet visor - i was rather enjoying the cool breeze of Bangalore on the drive.
Suddenly, Call it intution or 6th sense , I call is the Guidance of God.. I felt I shoud pull the visor down immediately. without any second thought, I pulled down the visor, within 2-3 seconds a big dragon fly came flying towards me and hit the visor.. i could hear rather a loud ' thud'. I was very much wondering how the Lord protects us, If I had not pulled down the visor, I am sure I would have been hit by the dragon fly and would have ended with a swollen eye today... Praise be to God...

CNN Heroes - Vote for Narayanan Krishnan

I was very much impressed by the story of Krishnan, the man who left his profession of being a great chef in 5 star hotels to feed the thousands on street without food.

The story - http://edition.cnn.com/2010/LIVING/04/01/cnnheroes.krishnan.hunger/index.html

Vote for him below:

Jessica's First Day @ School

Today was Jessica's first day in school. She is two years now and is in the playgroup section. She was there for 45 minutes.

Unlike me, She didnt cry or make any fuss her first time leaving us. She was rather happy to get rid of us :)
