Jesus ...The Guiding Light

Psalm 119:105 (King James Version)

'Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path'

The value of light is known when we are in darkness. The psalmist refers the word of God to a lamp that guides us when we are walking in darkness. And he is not referring to the powerful torch lights or lamps that we have today, he refers to the ones that were used generations ago. Such a lamp can show us the path for a feet or some metres, we cannot see our destination. Same is with our life, When we take the word of God as our Lamp in our life filled and surrounded by darkness, the word will show us where to keep our feet next though we might not know where the destination is. But when we commit ourselves to our Lord and work according to the word, we might see some problems but definitely God will lead us to the right place he has for us.

I remember the above thought from one of my friend named Dahlia. Thanks for this awesome insight.

Psalm 133 (New King James Version)

'Behold, how good and how pleasant it is For brethren to dwell together in unity'
How true is the word of God.... It is indeed pleasant and a wonderful refreshing time when brothers dwell together in unity. Idikula (The binding force of our team) came to India a week back and we decided we will meet. What else could be the better location other than Ooty - The place without which we would not have known each other.Soon we called each other, Representing Chennai Joseph and Dany (don), Hyderabad (Me of course) and Einstein at the home Ground (OOty itself) and with plans finalized from Idi's side we met at Ooty at my In Laws place on 14th June 2008.

Soon Fun Started as usual with music filling all over the house and disturbing my little darling Jessi a lil bit. We had a good time visiting our college especially our beloved Prayer Cell..... It was wonderful to take part in the lil time of worship.

Time was short with too much to discuss and share... We had to leave the next day though we didnt really feel like leaving. We did miss Aruns Family a lot and also Sivaram, Jeevan and Jeban, thus there was a void. Thanks to Idi for this wonderful wake up snap....

From Left: Einstein, Idi, Me, Dany and Jochu

It was great guys.... Meeting after a long break... Makes me to wait thinking when we will meet Again... A beautiful song comes to my mind as I close this topic....

God be with you till we meet again; by his counsels guide, uphold you, with his sheep securely fold you; God be with you till we meet again. Refrain: Till we meet, till we meet, till we meet at Jesus' feet; till we meet, till we meet, God be with you till we meet again

Behold... The Last Days are here

This video is not meant to depict God judging the earth, but it depicts the state of the earth during the last days as prophesied in the Bible.
God does not necessarily cause all these events (many are simply the worldwide effect of sin), but there are times when He will allow these things to occur in order to bring souls to repentance.

However, there is coming a time when God WILL actively execute judgment on the earth once again. - As written by the one who uploaded this vid

Watch and Pray

"Take heed, watch and pray; for you do not know when the time is." Mark 13:33

Difference between Focusing on Problems and Focusing on Solutions

Difference between Focusing on Problems and Focusing on Solutions

Case 1.

When NASA began the launch of astronauts into space, they found out that the pens wouldn't work at zero gravity (ink won't flow down to the writing surface). To solve this problem, it took them one decade and $12 million. They developed a pen that worked at zero gravity, upside down, underwater, in practically any surface including crystal and in a temperature range from below freezing to over 300 degrees C.
And what did the Russians do...?? They used a pencil.

Case 2.

One of the most memorable case studies on Japanese management was the case of the empty soapbox, which happened in one of Japan's biggest cosmetics companies. The company received a complaint that a consumer had bought a soapbox that was empty. Immediately the authorities isolated the problem to the assembly! line, which transported all the packaged boxes of soap to the delivery department. For some reason, one soapbox went through the assembly line empty. Management asked its engineers to solve the problem. Post-haste,
the engineers worked hard to devise an X-ray machine with high-resolution monitors manned by two people to watch all the soapboxes that passed through the line to make sure they were not empty. No doubt, they worked hard and they worked fast but they spent a whoopee amount to do so.
But when a rank-and-file employee in a small company was posed with the same problem, he did not get into complications of X-rays, etc., but instead came out with another solution. He bought a strong industrial electric fan and pointed it at the assembly line. He switched the fan on, and as each soapbox passed the fan, it simply blew the empty boxes out of the line.

Fishers of Men

FISHERS OF MEN

Jesus stood by the Lake of Gennesaret and the multitude pressed about Him to hear the word of God. He saw two boats that were standing by the lake and the fishermen had gone leaving their boats and were washing their nets. He got into one of the boats, which belonged to Simon and asked him to push it a little from the land. He sat down and taught the multitudes from the boat. When he had finished preaching, He told Simon to launch out into the deep and let down their nets for a catch.Simon addressed Jesus as 'Master' and told Him that they had toiled all night and caught nothing and continued that he would let down the net obeying His word. When they had done according to what Jesus said, they caught a great number of fish, and their net was breaking. They were unable to draw the net and they signaled to their partners in the other boat to come and help them. They came and filled both the boats, so that they began to sink. When Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at the feet of Jesus and asked Him to depart from him, as he was a sinful man. He and all who were with him were astonished at the catch of fish, which they had taken, and so also were James and John, the sons of Zebedee, who were partners with Simon. Jesus told Simon not to be afraid. From then on you would catch men. So when they had brought their boats to land, they forsook all and followed Him.Dear friend, when you obey the word of the living Lord Jesus and do accordingly, you will be able to receive many more blessing and that the joy, peace and happiness will flood your life and overflows from you to others who will receive and be blessed. When you are obedient, He will make you also to be 'Fishers of Men'. He will make you a blessing for others.

Mother....

A TRIBUTE TO MOTHERS

Success.....

Success is like your own shadow...
If u try to catch it
you will never succeed...
Ignore it and walk in your own way
It will follow you...

My Baby Girl - Jessica

20th of May 2008, A very special day in my life after my first wedding anniversary on 11th May 2008, the day God sent my little Angel - 'Jessica' into this world.

I have seen new parents enjoying and celebrating the new arrival. Me and Merlin understood the joy when it came to us and its something awesome.

Being in Hyderabad I was preparing myself for the delivery day from 11th may itself as we felt it could be anytime... 20th May after noon I got the news from my mother in law that the time has come. I couldn't wait...left my lunch half way , Ran to my desk and booked for the next closest flight to Coimbatore which was at 7:50 pm. My heart beat was faster than ever before and every half and hour I was talking with Merlin... trying to comfort her as I couldn't be with her.

Somehow killing the time and with various thoughts running in my mind... I reached Coimbatore by 9:10 pm. Took a cab to Ooty hoping I would make it before my Angel would be born. 11:00 pm and another hour to reach the hospital.. I called my mother in law and got the news 'You are blessed with a baby girl born 10:50 pm'... WoW I could feel a special effect in my body running through my veins...Thank God for the new blessing...
The next one hour seemed to move like years and finally reached hospital by 12:15 am. I couldnt wait to see my lil daughter as I rushed to the room where Merlin was. The nurse there placed the lil angel into my arms... Wrapped around a Warm cloth she seemed to be a perfect Gift Sent from above.

Then i felt the sweet touch of her hand.. the softest thing we can ever imagine.. The whole night we didnt sleep... just spent seeing her.... It was simply wonderful and great.... Thanks be to the Lord Almighty....
